Is a large group class too distracting for you and your dog?

Do you have specific issues that need to be addressed immediately?

Are you tired of a "cookie cutter" program with no consideration of your dog's special needs?

With our training system, you will learn how to train your own dog, starting out with individual sessions where we will address your specific concerns and behavior problems right from the start.

Once you and your dog have mastered a few basic commmands you will then join a group. Because class size is limited to 8 dogs, the instructor has time to work with each dog individually. With attention to your specific goals with this particular dog, you will continue to improve at your own pace.

We also encourage other members of the family to attend so that the dog learns to obey everyone. Happy Dogs and Happy Owners, that's our goal!

Types of Classes

Introductory Obedience (for dogs all ages, 3 months and older)

Package of 3 Individual Sessions: $125

If you have a puppy: The more you wait to train him, the more bad habits will set in and he will be more difficult to control due to his bigger size and weight. Socialization is crucial to have a well adapted adult. Meeting other dogs and people as well as special playtimes with other dogs should be started as soon as posible.

Obedience (after the 3 initial individual sessions)

Monthly fee: $100. You may enroll in as many months as you wish depending on your dog's special needs and your specific training goals with this dog.

Our all-fenced in playground is open prior to and after classes and we encourage everyone to let the dogs play every opportunity they have.

Housebreaking

If your puppy is giving you a hard time with housebreaking, you can schedule a private consultation so we can give you our detailed step-by-step housebreaking program tailored to your routine.

Aggressive Behavior

Aggressive problems create enormous emotional stress in the family. We have therefore developed a comprehensive treatment to control this dangerous attitude. Due to the complexity and high risk for everyone involved, the first step is a private session with the family, without the dog to asses the situation. You will then be given a step-by-step description of actions to be taken in his particular case and the owner can then decide whether he has the time and perseverance to carry it through without incurring in additional expenses.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate

The Canine Good Citizen program (CGC) was designed by the American Kennel Club to demonstrate good behavior of dogs in their communities.

All the exercises for the CGC test are routinely practiced in our Obedience classes.

For the CGC Test dogs will be scored on 10 different exercises like walking under control through a crowd, being petted by a friendly person, in presence of other dogs, remaining calm while being groomed, as well as basic obedience commands like sit, down stay and coming when called.

When your dog passes the test he will receive his CGC certificate and tag for his collar from the American Kennel Club which you can proudly display as proof of your dogs accomplishments!
