Labrador and Golden Retrievers.

Tangram Kennels started in 1979 when we acquired "Panda" our first Golden retriever female from Lochvier Kennels in Virginia. At that time we were living in Venezuela. “Panda” whose official name was, Ch Ven. Pto Rico Lochvier’s Caracas Panda Ven., Am. Pto Rico CD, came from wonderful “old fashioned lines” with many show, obedience and hunting titled dogs in her background. She was the first of several Golden Retrievers and later Labradors we imported to Venezuela.

Needless to say all these years of rearing, training and loving many dogs brought us a lot of joy and happiness. Many Champions and High in Trials and most important, really wonderful pets. Our greatest success, we believe, is having people come back for another puppy after their previous one had died, saying they could only come back to us for another dog.

In 2001 we relocated to Morriston, Florida with 9 dogs and my daughter's horse in tow! Labrador Retrievers Gale, Sebastian, Stormy, Andre, James, Clarissa and Sabrina; and Golden Retrievers, Flounder and Shadow. 

We are very actively involved in Agility competitions held by CPE, NADAC and AKC with the exception of Andre (11y), the official couch potato. 

Presently, our pack is composed of Labradors (in seniority order)  Andre, Sabrina, Ella and Holly and Morgan a Shetland Sheepdog. We are really exited about our upcoming breeding of Holly and hopefully a late spring litter as our last litter was 4 year ago!
